This look uses UD's Vice 3 palette and features red hot lips. I created this look to compliment a new dress. The eyes are pretty neutral with a kick of blue and super fun HudaBeauty lashes. The red lips are a combination of three different lipsticks. Watch the video above to see exactly how I created this eye and lip makeup look. Do you love to rock a red lip? Have a great day!
You're never too old for The Little Mermaid. This Ariel themed look proves it. Torrid is a great place to shop for Disney clothing because they often have collaborations featuring various Disney characters and Ariel has to be one of the most popular. This dress is particularly flattering because of it's vintage cut. It even has a little tulle peeking out from the bottom of the skirt. This layer also adds some fullness to the skirt. The sweetheart neckline is pretty and feminine. The halter top is also cute, but it's not my favorite style simply because I always feel like the ties are pulling on my neck. The black Ariel cardigan would be superb with or without the dress, but it's pretty awesome to have a matching one. Wouldn't this be a fun outfit to wear to Disneyland? Let's go!
I'm pretty obsessed with this makeup look. I used Urban Decay's Vice 4 palette because it had a green shadow that went with the dress and earrings. The purple looking color in the crease is actually a bright pink in the palette "1985," but it looks more purple on me. The super powered lashes are Ardell's Double Up lashes #201. The earrings are perfect for this look because the design looks just like a mermaid's tale!

This how to makeup tutorial is just about doing your brows! Specifically, this video shows you how to do your brows with Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz and Brow Definer. If you would like some brow tips or want to know how to use these products, watch my video above.
Also, let me know your favorite brow products in the comments below. Do you do your brows everyday or occasionally? I've learned that brows really do frame your face. Even if you're not wearing foundation, putting on some brows and mascara can take you a long way! I would encourage you to do your brows everyday that you're wearing makeup. After all, everyone has a day where they need to go makeup free. But on a regular basis, be sure to add brows to your look!
“When you do things from your soul, you feel a river moving in you, a joy.”
The practice of gratitude, for example, asking yourself the question, "What moments of joy have I recently experienced?" is a powerful practice. It reminds you to focus on the positive moments. Since what we focus on expands, it's great to concentrate on joy. After all, don't we all want more joy in our lives? When I think of joy, I think it's one step past just being happy... a more exuberant feeling. Thanks to Life by Lee for the Five Joys post idea.
Have a wonderful and cheery week! What joyful moments have you had recently?
This look uses Gwen Stefani's Urban Decay eye palette to create a smoky gray eye look. It also uses MAC's limited edition Ionized Mineralize Rich Lipstick to create a sliver lip. I really enjoyed doing this different makeup look, but I'm the first to admit I look a little like I'm ready for outer space or something. But I think the whole look would be changed with a different lip color. A nude or pink lip would make this look completely wearable for everyday. And sometimes it's just fun to try something new even if it's a silver lipstick! I think someone who can rock that new silver hair trend would look amazing with this silver lipstick.
